When we first arrived at the hotel it looked gorgeous with the fish and stuff right at the entrance which was a big attraction for the kiddies.

The rooms were nice and on whole you couldn’t really fault the hotel especially the entertainment for the kids but for the adults or teens it wasn’t up to much. The only lively place near by was the bar at the complex which had karaoke and stayed open until 2pm but that was it.

We did go into Alcudia in a taxi and decided to walk home as was a nice night but had to give up after about an hour and a half and wave down a taxi, and after walking all that way we weren’t even close to the hotel!

The first two days were hot then we had 3 days of rain and then 2 days of sun at the end of the holiday, not much to do while it was raining.

I personally wouldn’t go back but would recommend it for people with kiddies who are fussed about going out of complex and happy to stay at hotel.

One of the most comfortable holidays I’ve ever been on! I am 14 and loved it so much, as it is great for kids, with the 2 kids clubs, but also great for adults with the beach right next door. What more could you want!
Relax by the 2 pools or browse round the shops. Order a hire car and go for a drive round Alcudia.
Over all, I’d give this holiday a rating of 7 out of 10!

Generally this Hotel complex was very good. The food was excellent and presented well. The rooms were small and average but reasonably comfortable. There was easy access to all the hotels facilities as well as being situated on the beach. The pool was fantastic, well designed and Spacious. The only real annoyance was having to get up at 5.30am to place towels on sun beds to ensure a spot but apart from that we had a great holiday.

There was no problem with the hotel itself, excellent facilities, good choice of food, helpful staff. The noise level from our block was very low, although some rooms were very close to the noise. Pool & Beach perfectly located. One thing that did let it down, was I felt the rooms were not cleaned sufficiently, i.e. floors still needed sweeping, bath & sink not cleaned out, and would of liked the bed changed once more due to the heat. Although they were well equipped, and the food package awaiting us on our midnight arrival was very welcome. It would of been nice for this hotel to have been nearer the centre of Alcudia, if it was you couldn't ask for anything more

The Alcudia Pins was excellent. The pool was cleaned every night by chemicals. They clean the sun beds when stacking them. Alcudia Pins is on the doorstep of beach, which is great. The rooms are a good size and the bed sheets are changed regularly. The entertainment staff provides excellent activities for kids and adults and are very helpful. The Alcudia Pins has its own shopping site, including dry cleaning, a medical service and lots more. It has a games room where there is pool tables racing games and more. It has a main food shop with reasonable prices. It is out of the way a little from the town but busses run into the town and there are taxis close to the site, even though it is out of the way there are a few shops and restraints near it. It has entertainment at night and has its own nightclub for over eighteens.
I am going again May 2004 that’s how good it is despite some of the other reviews.
Why not go and have an excellent holiday?

Please don’t go to the Alcudia Pins and expect any customer service from Airtours or Going Places. Then Alcudia Pins was in the middle of nowhere, a good three quarters of an hour walk from the town centre, and main harbour. The swimming pool was cramped, if you did not get up at 5.00am in the morning, then don’t expect to get a sun lounger. This hotel is billed as kid’s club themed hotel. So this is the only hotel I have ever been too, that does not supply sun canopies. So that you can protect you’re children from the hot sun. This is ludicrous. The prices on site are sky high for anything, be that food or drink. But because of its location you are faced with a taxi ride every night into the town centre or pay the over inflated prices on site.

Airtours are offering very over priced jaunts to places of interest.
I.e. the caves of drach costs 50 euros for an adult, and 25 euros for children.
On hiring a ford focus car for the week at 120 euros we visited the caves of drach ourselves at a cost of 9 euros for an adult and kids went free, that’s not a misprint kids go free.

Also don’t mention the diseased pool, that no one is responsible for cleaning or checking that it is safe for children to paddle or swim in.

Clean hotel nice beach, shame about most of staff quite miserable. Prices are a bit pricey on resort as no bars around only on resort its self. Can get taxi into town for about 6 euros were you will find karaoke bars restaurants etc. airtours entertainment at hotel not much good compared to other holidays I have been on with airtours. Make your own way to water park only 10 euros and 5 for kids. Get taxi or bus takes you there from outside hotel. People that went half board said food was cold by the time you got in as you get times allocated to you for the whole of your stay. Go into alcudia to eat at night and drink much cheaper and lots more fun. Good place for younger families that like doing their own cooking and going to bed early.

Very nice apartments, very clean, very friendly people working in and around the hotel. We enjoyed the holiday as it was our first holiday with our son who is 18 months old. We were a bit worried when we got their as we didn’t know what would keep our little boy amused as he is so young he enjoyed playing in the pool and on the beach as the beach is closer that a stone throw away, which was nice. The crèche was well run and was pleased that my son settled for the crèche workers. Al in all it was a nice break and found it a nice place to relax, I would return to Alcudia pins when my son is a bit older as he will be able to appreciate it more.

The late booking cost us around £150 per person and was great value for money. The apartments were spacious and spotlessly cleaned every other day.

The buffet meals were delicious with a very large and varied choice. There was plenty of entertainment-it was holiday campish - but great for anyone with children. The hotel was on the sandy beach-loads of sun loungers to hire at 2 euros a day.

The drinks in the hotel were reasonably priced for the amount of booze in them, but the supermarket was very pricey, though we did come home with the impression that everything in Majorca was expensive except for booze, cigarettes and water!

The big disadvantage of the hotel [which is not really made clear in the brochure] is that it is not really in Alcudia at all, but some way along the coast, and not within walking distance-fine during the day when buses are frequent, but they stop running mid evening and a taxi back cost us about £10.Alcudia itself is a typical large sprawling tourist resort, but it does have a wonderful sandy beach and there are plenty of excursions to more interesting places.

The local market is definitely a rip off the tourist site. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would recommend the hotel to anyone going out of season, but we got the distinct impression that later in the season it would be packed out, overcrowded and a nightmare-it was probably only half full when we went and that was a comfortable number of people for the amenities on offer.

Oh and finally the jugs of sangria and cocktails from the bar at the front of the hotel were to die for!
